Hausvik will have 600–700 meters of deep-water quay front with depths down to 15–20 meters.
200,000m2 of land is available for the offshore wind industry, and there is an option for regulating even 300,000m2 more.
Hausvik is close to open seas, making the area ideal for assembling offshore wind turbines.
The port is located in a non-tidal area.
